The Soccer Mom From Outer Space

My mom raised me since I was a baby
And I thought I knew her well
On second thought just maybe she had a secret I couldn¹t tell

You think I would have noticed
If my mom was from outer space
Two green heads would have showed it
It¹s hard to miss an extra face

She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
What else could she be
She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
And she¹s not like you and me

I studied her when we got home
I watched her all week long
She read and she talked on the telephone
She acted like nothing was wrong

Then she showed up in a pickle suit
And I knew she was getting weirder
You might think that she looked cute
She was a giant green cheerleader

I said, "mom if you look around you¹ll see
No one else is dressed like, you know who!"
She said, "You don¹t have to thank me,
Not everyone¹s as lucky as you!"

I said, "Mom, please don¹t dress like that."
"All right," she said, "You win, but I think I¹ll
Wear my pickle hat!" I said, "mom please try to blend in!"

She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
What else could she be
She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
And she¹s not like you and me

A green blimp with flashing lights
Floated over a tree
All the parents were dressed inside
It was quite a sight to see

They were all dressed up like cheer leading pickles
Waving pom-poms around
"Looks like I¹m not the only soccer mom,
From outer space in town!"

She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
What else could she be
She¹s a soccer mom
From outer space
And she¹s not like you and me
