We're Coyote

We've lived in these hills all of our lives
It's here that we call home
We hunt for our food we play in these hills
It's the only world we've known

Houses were built on the land that we love
Now we've got no place to be
We can't move to a new neighborhood
We're in trouble can¹t you see

We're Coyotes
Trying to stay alive
We¹re Coyotes
How can we survive?

We can't feed our children
You've left us with nothing to eat
When our bellies are growling
We can't go to the store down the street
So at night when you sleep we come out
Trying to find some food
We take what we can and we do what we must
It¹s the only thing we can do

Some people would like to destroy us
They want us to go away
But we belong on this earth just like you do
There must be another way

We're Coyotes
Trying to stay alive
We're Coyotes
How can we survive?

We're Coyotes
We've got no place to roam
We're Coyotes
You've taken away our home

We're Coyotes
Trying to stay alive
We're Coyotes
We've got no place to hide

We're Coyotes
We're Coyotes
We're Coyotes
