Crazy Hair Day is a community
initiative designed to celebrate and promote the power of literacy
through the featured children’s book, Crazy Hair Day, written
and illustrated by Barney Saltzberg.
Get Crazy Hair in 2008!
Join regional children's museums, Starbucks, celebrity
readers local schools, and other community organizations hosting
Crazy Hair Day in 2006.
More than 2,500 books will be donated in more than
10 cities throughout the US to be read to more than 50,000. We are
also collecting books to be donated to communities devasted by recent
hurricanes.
